309OCTOBER 27 Thurs 1910 Stormy morning & eve. Dem Bunnell came to a missionary meeting and was here tonight. Mrs. Rowe came over this eve. Claude says Chan cried all night to go home to "The house where Father was"! When in Wyoming. Henry enjoyed it - Told him all about it at length but very glad to get home - Harry is engaged to Edith Burke - &c. wrote Mother. Fri 1911 Lunched with Lura & Mrs. B and then went down to Reinhardt's with some R.R. stuff & stopped at Marguerite's (no.10) Kindergarten coming back. Lots of children - most pathetic too - & funny was "well received". Sat up too late reading &c. Sun 1912 A heavenly day. Cloudy early - after late breakfast Lydia
 & I went to Durand - Eastman park and & took an entertaining walk - around the lower edge of the woods & back tho' the middle - lots of chestnuts - lovely tones & colors. Walked down by the lake, back of car. Lunch at Manhattan. &c. Bess & Mary's lovely new home (Hully & Mr. Relyea & boarder there) back to dress hastily & go to Amelie's to supper with Tessie Behn, Meta, Theo, Jno. & A. Saw A.'s yellow- stone pictures &c. Moonlight ride home in auto. Mon 1913 Busy day. Lunched at Klines! Hard at work at Brady spec. &c &c. Amelie is just from N.Y. (!!) I worked at Manas lists &c &c till nearly 12 tonight. Awfully tired of course. Tues 1914 A bleak day. Lunched with Bess & Mary. At 4:30 Irene stopped for me - brimful of love light. We walked down to the Church for Florence& Edith took them home (after I left). Home with Mother this eve.
