94APRIL 3 Sun 1910 Beautiful day. Made prints all a.m. After dinner took 5 pictures of Mrs. Rowe & Marguerite for their mother & grandmother - went over to Lura's new 95 Shepard St. home for a nice little visit. And then to Milly's & Hamilton's (128 Rosedale - Frank's) where a made a long visit Stand to supper &c.Jim & Mr. Mann were in the car going up & were Jolly - Frank D. was in too & looked very sad indeed - poor boy! Wrote late Mon 1911 Awfully busy today on Specifications. Commenced Children's bibs tonight. eyes ached afterwards! Wed 1912 More springlike. Busy. The Board of Education (or rather Warrant Castleman & Helen Gregory) have put Foster out after 12 years good service & made Gordon architect of the Schools! Everyone sympathizes with Foster apparently. Thurs 1913 An awful day! Henry much better but Claude called home this noon because Chan had to have his middle ear opened. He suffered all night. I went up at five & found him just over the ether & looking pale and quiet in his father's arms. The darling! Henry still in bed but lively. Fri. 1914 Bright sun on snow. Took the children to School (CFB. to Canandaigua) & went for them. Ruth K. conducted a banquet at no. 24 School - very successful.
