Mon 1911
Awfully busy today on
Specifications. Commenced Children's bibs tonight. eyes ached
afterwards!
Wed 1912
More springlike. Busy. The
Board of Education (or rather Warrant Castleman
& Helen Gregory) have put
Foster out after 12 years good service &
made Gordon architect of the Schools!
Everyone sympathizes with Foster
apparently.
Thurs 1913
An awful day! Henry much better but Claude called home this noon because
Chan had to have his middle ear
opened. He suffered all night. I went up at five & found him just
over the ether & looking pale and quiet in his father's arms. The darling!
Henry still in bed but lively.
Fri. 1914
Bright sun on snow. Took the children to School (CFB. to
Canandaigua) & went for them. Ruth
K.
conducted a banquet at no. 24 School - very
successful.
