91MARCH 31 Thu. 1910 Cooler today- especially this p.m. Home at noon in a gale. Met Bess & Mary & gave them Cape Cod literature. They were pleased with it! To night went to Cro'nest to supper & a little goodbye frolic with the dear boys wo go to "New York City" tonight. They were lovely & Nanna goes too. They are to stop at the Wellington & surprise most of the Wilkinsons. Henry looked particularly handsome. The divans have gone to be recovered - & the Harvey Ellises to the Exhibition in Mechanics- so has mine.
Fri. 1911 More snow! Copied "Fourth Dimension
. Ate Oranges. Had a long visit from Miss Maize who leaves the "Far East Shop" [illegible] today. Tonight Mrs. Rowe & Marguerite came over for a visit. Stopped at the Hippo & got "The Motion Picture story Magazine" - Something new & quite interesting.
Sun 1912 Sunshine this a.m. Mae Stull phoned me to go to Meadow-wood - but I couldn't. We went to Claude's to dinner and Marion was there & such a good dinner. A hard shower, & wind came up in the p.m. (Minnie
came in the most of it) and Claude got a carriage to take us home & Mal & himself to Mrs. Hoyt's The Boys were noisy. Read "[illegible] Jones" are evening.
Mon 1913 Rain this morning. & Sunshine & rain later. Claude came down but really wasn't able. Saw Bess & Mary at Y this noon. Did Errands - at night went to see Marguerite, just back from Dansville. Our "Brown Boys" moved in tonight. I pasted pictures fixed negatives &c. up too late of course. Tues 1914 March "went out like a lamb" (in looks) but Jim, Stern & I found it bleak riding to Brady's & Frey's this p.m. One in a puddle, the other along done. This noon launched at Mechanics (late) with Mother & had my silk dress skirt fitted. Tonight sewed collars on Mother's dress while she read aloud (& slept some) eyes ache but cold much better.
