88MARCH 28 Mon 1910. Warmest day yet. Went to Duffy's this noon & bought a suit - really a fall suit at $23.50 reduced from $48.00! Very pretty I think. Sibley's to lunch. To Marguerite's tonight & then pasted & sewed while Papa read. He wasn't feeling well today. J.W. made snobby remarks about the Fenns
& I told him about the $50 Xmas present J.G. isn't coming home for the funeral. All windows open tonight! Miss Flack is back.
Tues 1911 A horrid cold March day. C & I very busy & I feel very rocky & I guess he did (he should He's been working out "nerves" so long!) Lunched at Sibley's with Lura (& Mrs. Ebert called on Nellie. Meta called up tonight she's just stepping on her foot. Is to ride to the Hospital in the Auto to see Amelie tomorrow. X-stitched all evening. The cats were very lively - Mother's new clothes came. Coat, hat & [illegible]dress- or [illegible] ! Thurs. 1912 Busy. Meta came over & spent the evening. Had proofs of the twins
pictures. Very good. too.
Fri 1913 A gleam of sunshine at last, River higher than 1896. Took some pictures of it. & at noon went to the upper and lower falls - a boat on Front Street where it flowed in to Fahy's market [illegible]. Had to go around Fitzhugh St. home tonight. Our cars didn't rim (see mem). Sat 1914 "Bob", Eugenie's lovely Collie is lost! This a.m. I went (after lunch with Bess & Mary) to Dr. Lee's hospital to see Marguerite who's been having a little tumor removed. Her mother is here. Mother & I went to Cro'nest to dinner tonight. I walking up with the boys, who were here in the p.m.
