57FEBRUARY 26 Sat 1910 Henrytelephoned his "love to Aunt Maisie" &c. Forgot to say Bess & Mame sent me some lovely yellow tulips yesterday & today.
I had a nice postal from Chattie & one
from Trudy& Marguerite brought me some fried calves
brains (!) (Father & Peter ate them!) I felt pretty bad nearly all
day. Was in bed most of the time till lunch & most of the time on it
afterward till Edith came about 4:30.
Had quite a nice visit. The Vacuum people move to the Roch.
Sav. bank about Mar. 10th. Tonight Father read
Mc Clure's & I played with the kittens. They are so fascinating.
Sun 1911
Gray day. Gurdon came up this a.m. & he & his
mother (& sometimes I) had quite a talk about his "job" &c. Then he
took
Alice down to his room & we all of
us went to Claude's to dinner staid till
nearly dark with the children and then G. came home to supper with us. We had a nice visit. They are
both so dear. The children were good.
Mon 1912
I felt as tho' I had got
Henry's cold tonight, so stopped in
Paine's for Rhinitis, but
Frank Goler gave me "something better"
"Coryza" tablets which nearly finished me by the time I went
to bed I simply couldn't sit up! Mother
read to me earlier.
Wed 1913.
Cool. Went over to
Marguerite for awhile (It was
freezing) and then home and had a nice grate fire, the girls, Mother and I.
Thurs 1914
Went to the "Y"
and "corrected" the Vaca- tion House
plans (with Miss [illegible]) Mrs. Crouch's
request. She may have Ruth
