44FEBRUARY 13 Sun. 1910 A beautiful day. All got up late - the snow was about 20 in deep - at noon I stopped in Behn's after reading a letters. Had a little visit with Frieda & saw some of Leslie Weller 's pictures. This p.m went to Cro'nest. Walked & snap shotted the tobaggan slide &c. Mr. C.
there & children dear. I read them "Jacky- Bean talk". Then I went to Davis' (with the Hebbard part way) Francey was there & the Hamilton 's - Read in eve.
Mon. 1911 Fine winter's day. Tonight Mother & I went over to see Fred & Jack Boyce & their Mother & John
in their little house. They played & sang had mouth organ - treated to grape juice, ice cream & cake &c. &c. Jack came home with us. Helped Gilmore send Valentines.
Tues. 1912 Beautiful winter day. Dentist's an hour(!) just to put in a gold inlay!! Lunched with Bess & Mary at Sibley's. Busy all day on various specification &c. Fixed photos & read about tonight. A nice letter from Harry about his new boy "Lawrence"

Thurs. 1913 More cold and another grate fire. The house swept & garnished & everybody tired. Thurs 1914 Cold & bright. Went down to the RI & D
as noon & also bought valentines for the boys - met Chat. Came home with Jim who was to entertain Stern at dinner. The girls went to the "Tango Club" in the evening and I loafed a little & then to bed to lie awake a long time in the night. New furs for Mother
