Warm. Lunched at Sibley's & went out to So. Park alone. Read & watched polo game
- nice cool breeze. Stopped at
CFB's coming home. Boy's going to
Park to see
[illegible]CF. writing in piazza. Dressed up &
sat on piazza & talked to Marguerite.
Lovely moonlight Auto ride to South
Park with
Amelie, Meta, Frieda,
Alice
& Theo - wrote later.
Sun 1911
Took the 8:30 car to
Canandaigua. Miss Brayer"Mr. Fox". Harold, Esther
Howe,
Ethel Flack, Hanna,
RegFlack & MB.
Met the
Bridgeman's. Went by auto to dock - sailed, paddled &
were towed to cottage city. Helped get such a big &
good dinner! Sat on the shore while the youngster [illegible]
sailed (fine!) to Tickner's. Climbed the glen, took
pictures got simpler water. Sailed - paddled & were towed. (a little)
back, eating sausages &c on the way - lovely p.m. Caught the 8 car &
got home before ten. Took pictures &c good time. Long talk with
R.B.F. on car.
Tues 1912
Nice day. Great times at
the Chicago Convention. The contest between
Taft & Roosevelt is "on" & neither willing
to concede anything. An un precedented situation.
Wed 1913 Mae Stull came in- delighted with the
pictures I took Sunday. Was busy with Mr.
Stern's stuff. today - no Jimyet!
Thurs 1914 Mother some tired. The boys here again
last night. Lunched with Ruth
at Sibley's& this
p.m. she & Marguerite& Jim & I went to the Big
Woods in the auto. Jim to
Gorsline's) we had a walk &c & brought
Mrs. Gorsline back - got caught in a hard shower coming
back (top up!) & we had another thunder slower later.
