171JUNE 19 Sun 1910
A hot day but beautiful and I
did enjoy it - home all day - fixing my closet bureau drawers &c.
for Gertrude and doing all sort of odd
jobs. Read on the bed this p.m. & sat on our nice piazza in the
moonlight with Mother &
Moyer to- night - Didn't see my babies all day.
Mon 1911
Fine day and busy - rather.
The Cutler Co. is excited over "Govt.
investigation" & May call me in. Developed 4 roles of film tonight.
Mine (all good) Flack's (all but one)
and Bess's (3 good in the dozen - all of
Mary's tent)
Wed 1912 Nana came in this a.m. (office) &
had a talk with Claude. She was very
tearful, poor dear lady! She went to
Webster & came back about 8 & staid here all
night. Was badly stung by a bee very near her eye -
Swollen awfully!
Thurs 1913
But he came today. We phonedbut he didn't come in. I went to the dentists
and he sure did murder me putting a crown on tonight. Took Lura & Mrs.
B. to see "The Passing of the Third floor Back"
(Earl Browne)
Fri 1914
Cold & rainy. Jim sick. Claude in
Canandaigua in a.m. A quite day. Lunched with Marguerite& we went to the
movies. Ruth
last night. Had a nice fire & played flinch. Gave
Mother an egg-nog!
