MEMORANDA
July 19 1910. Mother got a letter from Hariette
Corse with a lot of Nancy's funny sayings
which reminds me that since Celia (who is English)
has been taking care of our boys in Letitia's
absence.
Chan talks about ("it in his 'Ed" and.
calls it a "trayne of cars" &c. real English style. He seems to have
transferred all his ad- oration to his Father. Henry delighted to go
back doesn't want to stay Saturday! He loves his
home!!
July 1911 Henry says "What are you thinking about
Father?" "Something you don't
understand - Higher Space" "But I know what space is", said
Henry "it's anything there is room
for". He was telling Gran'ma about a
new baby he saw. It's blue eyes cunning little fingers" &c. "And how
much hair has it?" said
Gran'ma. "Oh, about as much as Father"! was his reply.
19 over the ridge behind a fine team by
lovely moonlight. Puffy trains - jeweled & belching, flames were making
for the distant high bridge. It was a heavenly day - &
Lydia
Levancha

Ruth Brittle ("Pag" friend & so pretty)
Helen Sandford (Ruth's sister -
