Pouring rain this a.m. & a
gloomy day. This p.m. went to the Children's Games in the
Armory (they were to be in the Park)
They were simply magnificent - dances - marches &c. & Also
Italians (men & women) & greeks. Sat with Flacks
& found Mother later. Had a cozy
evening by the fire with two cats & the rest of the dear family. Read
Owen Kildares "My Mannie Rise".
Sun 1911
Boiling hot day (after a
terrific thunder shower last night) Home all day. CFB in Buffalo - a lecture on
Higher Space.) Mother went up
& got Henrythis p.m. & he staid
all night - was perfectly charming. We had "Alice in Wonderland"
(so funny 'cause the "Am - nals talked!") &c. A gorgeous sunset from.
the back piazza which Henry fully
appreciated. He is an adorable age & so
beautiful - especially his hands - mouth and eyes.
Tues 1912
Nice day - warmer - This p.m.
Jim
and I went to the ball game. A double- header, Montreal and
Rochester - fine games. (We saw less than half of the first.)
Scores 5-3(Roch) & 3-2 (Montreal) wonderful
playing.
Mother to Claude's to supper. I read "Christopher" after
talking to the Rowe's awhile.
Wed 1913.
Lovely weather. Said a last
Goodbye to Lydia
this a.m. and really went to work again in Earnest. Feel
fine most of the day. Had one headache tho!

Fine! Went to JimGorsline Cottage met
Jim this a.m. The woods were lovely!
Helen Rogers there & we walked about with her. Nearly collided with their Pierce-Arrow!
To Commencement tonight. Ruth K.
graduated. Treated her & Miss Muir to soda
&c. Home real late.
