344DECEMBER 1 Thurs. 1910 A regular snowstorm almost all day. Went to the Hospital donation with Lura & Mary this noon - good turkey dinner and lots of pretty things. Read & embroidered tonight. Meta here to sleep (twins
downstairs) while the house is being fixed. Bed early. Henry & Chan in the office this morning. Fri. 1911 Edith Andrews down for her last shopping. She took me to lunch at Duffy's & we shopped later. Sewed and read aloud tonight. Boys down to see Sibley's windows & called on us. (no - Sat. a.m.) Sun 1912 Nice sunny day (but windy). Mother& I still alone & enjoying it (girls off for Thanksgiving) late breakfast. Down to 424 Augustine where I took of pictures (mostly interiors for Bess & Mary - back thro' Seneca Parkway Fixed Lydia
's Xmas book (Portage) and then Nana & the boys came. (About 4) We had a nice roast beef dinner (all of us) about 5. Then they went home after singing "Little Jack Frost" & "The Pigeon House") Wrote &c. Lydia
 arrived. Mon 1913 Lunched with Bess & Mary - at Sibley's (after going to bank &c.) and then did some Christmas shopping. Reading aloud as usual tonight. Tues. 1914 Still rainy. Went down to the banks &c. at noon & back to Sibley's - a N.Y. woman scraped acquaintance. Edith Ann saw me across the room. At night stopped for Mother at church & as went to CU's to dinner - game &c. Had a nice time & went home rather early - in the rain still.
