159JUNE 7 Tues 1910
Still cold & dreary -
like Will it ever be warm again! I amused myself till [illegible], this noon & then went for an hour's session with Dr.
McInter
& later got a bit of lunch but was used up by night. Had a chat with
Lura. Elsie McD.
was in for her umbrella. Tonight went over to see the
Rowe's a while & then back to read "It
never can happen again". Didolike it. Bed about ten - very tired & sore
(crick in my back!)
Wed 1911
Still cold & gray. Came
home to such a good dinner! Mother went to Mrs. Silver-
nail this p.m. and didn't come home till after prayer meeting.
I went to the Hippodrome & spent the evening
reading
[illegible]Claude's "Higher Space" a good
deal. It is profound - & fine - writing.
Fri 1912
Nice day. Cool June weather.
Mother
went out to the church to supper & I came home late & got my
own. Read some. Claude in
N.Y.Stern went to
Baltimore again tonight
Sat 1913
Rainy morning but lovely p.m. I went to Sodus
with Nana& the boys & we had a
very pleasant time Looked up the
Nicholdy
place, Had tea & toast &c. &c. Felt miserable with an
ulcerated tooth and really sick all the way home. Went to bed at nine.

warm. Got up early, the Ruth's & I went to Highland Park
via. Cro'nest. The Azaleas &
rhodendrons were fine! Went into the pavilion &
around the edge path. Made prints sewed ironed wrote &c. &c.
