159JUNE 7 Tues 1910 Still cold & dreary - like Will it ever be warm again! I amused myself till [illegible], this noon & then went for an hour's session with Dr. McInter & later got a bit of lunch but was used up by night. Had a chat with Lura. Elsie McD. was in for her umbrella. Tonight went over to see the Rowe's a while & then back to read "It never can happen again". Dido like it. Bed about ten - very tired & sore (crick in my back!) Wed 1911 Still cold & gray. Came home to such a good dinner! Mother went to Mrs. Silver- nail this p.m. and didn't come home till after prayer meeting. I went to the Hippodrome & spent the evening reading [illegible] Claude's "Higher Space" a good deal. It is profound - & fine - writing. Fri 1912 Nice day. Cool June weather. Mother went out to the church to supper & I came home late & got my own. Read some. Claude in N.Y. Stern went to Baltimore again tonight Sat 1913 Rainy morning but lovely p.m. I went to Sodus with Nana& the boys & we had a very pleasant time Looked up the Nicholdy
place, Had tea & toast &c. &c. Felt miserable with an ulcerated tooth and really sick all the way home. Went to bed at nine.
Sun 1914 Lovely morning but grew very warm. Got up early, the Ruth's & I went to Highland Park via. Cro'nest. The Azaleas & rhodendrons were fine! Went into the pavilion & around the edge path. Made prints sewed ironed wrote &c. &c. Ruth
Went calling & I meant to but a long thunder shower came up Mother had a long call from Doreen Frost.
