121APRIL 30 Sat. 1910 A little dubious but I started for Dansville at 440 on the "flyer". Mother came to the station with some "cat elevator" pictures. Read "Happy Hawkins" & enjoyed the lovely but wet valley going up. Dr. A got on at Groveland & rode with me. Edith was at the station "Booster Day". Delicious supper - Rhea Freidel
- Mrs. "Billy" Frazier Theotorium (Roosevelt in Africa) Straw- berry shopping amd a long talk with Edith in my room - (about Will Clark & Willard Morris.)
Sun. 1911 Really hot & showery. Read "Molly Make - Believe". Went to Claude's to dinner out was so lonesome without the children. Took a walk around Highland Park &c. (horrid) & then came home & had a bath and began another book "Clever Betsy" before supper. Mr. Cunningham died. Tues. 1912 I am better & everybody busy. Bess & Mary came up tonight & brought Mother a dear little May basket of white violets. I read a little in "On the Branch". Wed. 1913 They've begun to ask Claude about Mrs. M &c &c Susie Hoyt was in. [illegible] told Stern He was in Le Roy this p.m. Tonight at 5 Lydia
& Coralyn
came & we went for a long walk. This Atlantic Ave. dugway, the "back" road to Float Bridge &c. Took the 7:30 car there. It was really charming & we walked nearly 4 miles I guess. Supper at 9 with the girls.
Thurs. 1914 Bright & nice but chilly. Went home to lunch today - going for the boys with Jim and then he came for me & Ruth Duroe went too, & we did errands all the way. Went out with Florence this p.m. to look at por- traits. Mother to Fred Boyce's to dinner.
