169JUNE 17 Fri 1910 Lunched with Bess & Mary at Sibley's & shopped. To Limericks at night. Rained coming home & a terribly hard thunder storm in the night. Very warm & muggy but J.W. away & everything easy. Sat 1911. Busy - very. Went down to see JW about Nanlty
's com- plaining to the govt about mail Chute Monopoly. Mother took me to lunch at 1:30. We sawBess & Mary & my Peter Ibbetson is found. Walked home via. Plymouth Ave. Sewed, did a puzzle. Sat and talked to Rowe's and later Amelie & John took us to the park to the band concert in the Auto. & later to the Oak Hill Country Club & all thro' it - even the billiard room & grille. It was a lovely night.
Mon 1912 Cooler. Lunched with Lura & Capt. Gridley. at Sibley's. Mother was up in p.m. I. went to the Hippodrome ("French Sky &c") tonight & then down to Mr. Bridgman's to be fitted & stopped at Lura's on my way up. Did my cash did acct. &c. late. Headache - too much fudge & not enough else! Tues 1913 Busy and hot. Jim not here yet - but coming tomorrow I guess. Will Wray very sick indeed, Operation yesterday, Lunched with Bessie Bob. Wed 1914 Lovely day. Up early to get breakfast but the boys were Angelic. This p.m. took the 4 children for a long auto ride (Clarence
) thro' the Parks. Had two nice little visits with Mrs. H. stopped for Mother at the "Y", where she read her annual report (Autumn chapter)
