292OCTOBER 10 Mon. 1910 Nice October weather. Busy days for CFB. Jim in Annapolis. Tonight went down to Frieda's & heard the Victrola &c. met George Slemin (very nice). Mr. Proctor & Louise Thomson' (of Thayer St.) talked Adirondacks. Ate cake - drank liquids &c. Tues. 1911 Rainy horrid daya.m. I lunched with Lura at Sibley's as it was "Autumn Chapter" & Chattie joined us later. Then we shopped it cleared off hot a little while. I have a horrid cold - First in about 2 years! Thurs. 1912 Worked from 8:30 to 7 tonight practically without stopping on Thomas Specifications. Mother had a wire dinner ready - went to bed early Fri. 1913 Warm summer day. Walked over to No. 10 to see Miss Durney. Miss Chase & Marguerite. Then to the station & then to the new YWCA (which is very nice indeed). It was announced yesterday that Claude is to be one of the new Architects of the new YWCA! Sat. 1914 CFB & Eugenie went to Toronto. He lectures there tomorrow. This p.m. I went to Seneca Park with Florence, Irene Winans. Her sister Mrs. Burnett, Marjorie B. & 2 other litter girls a gorgeous walk & confidential chats with "Irene" (who flatters me) It poured just after I got home in the night!
