Still uncertain weather - no
clear night yet. Lunched with Bess
& Mary (as Nan
was sick & Myra Crawley - Learned (thro' Lura, that to Mac A's are not going & Pt. Breeze so
my lovely Sunday & memorial day together are entirely
spoiled by them (as I refused Mrs. Arthur Davis'
invitation) I did feel badly tonight! Bath, accounts
& late to bed.

Lovely day, but warm.
Mrs. Nash
Went with me to the Matinee to see "The Great Divide" again
and enjoyed it immensely - but I don't think Miss Kinder
plays it right. Gurdon went to
Geneva
to see Alice & Nan tonight. They are for a week or so.
Mon 1912 Mr. Hampden came to CFB's early this a.m. & was in & out
all day. Looks rather pale but is as nice as ever. Was very busy till after six (Stern
specifications &c.) This noon went with Bohachek
to the station & saw the colored, terra cotta. It is getting along
fast. Wrote & fussed with negatives &c tonight. Motherwent to
Meta's girl's show. It is real warm again.

ready to go away & the M. Stern
specifications out. &c. &c. Went to bed rather early - but not
to sleep, I'm afraid. Cloudy Rain & cool.
Wed 1914
Hot! Eugenie wired she wouldn't be home till
tomorrow. HMS & I had a lovely
ride down to Gorsline's (big woods) with Jim.

came back with us & we came thro a big wind storm but it
didn't rain till afterward. Office about done and the boys settings. Rode home
in Ford & wrote &c. tonight Tired
