288OCTOBER 6 Thurs 1910 Cloudy. Mother went to Victor to a Miss'y meeting and Helen
went back to Little Falls. It started in and poured again - all day & evening long. I got my Mountain pictures. Lunched with Mary & Bess at Sibley's this noon & 'phoned Edith & Mrs. Tait. Tonight fixed photos, all the evening (old books &c) & tended cats. Frieda has a Victrola. Dorothy Frey is six years old today.
Fri. 1911 Cloudy & dark. Claude went off with some clients and Frank
& Roy
were both out this p.m. so Bohachek & I were alone. By 5 o'clock it was pouring & cold rain. I went to the Hippo - but it was worse afterward. Spent the evening at home, sewing & reading - & glad to be there - a nice letter from Bessie Ball. Hot bath felt good & so does our furnace fire.

for & me to the farm to get the bees! Got 4 hives & took Chan back at noon (lovely ride) Miss F. Henry & I wandered about wood & fields - rested under an apple the and finally went to Webster for the 3:10 car. Miss F. raved over Cro'nest. Nana made us tea &c. [illegible] took Frieda's Kitten
Mon 1913 Mary Gridley in Boston, she wrote me a nice letter. Our little Felix is a joy forever! Warm pleasant weather all the time! Tues 1914. Cooler. Cad Goler (just back from ') lunched with me today. Went to the Victoria tonight. After dinner read "The Women Haters" to Mother. Lovely day.
