102APRIL 11 Mon. 1910 Rather a gloomy day. Rained some too. Walked down with Marguerite & Mrs. R. Had a new girl at the office Elsie McDonald. Home to lunch. It was cold outdoors. Late home &c. night. Jack Boyce came over. didn't accomplish much - sewed & read & did up a package for Chattie's birthday. Letters from Trudy & Edith
. Talked with Farquaharson he wants to take my picture!
Tues. 1911 Kavanagh specifications. Gilmore's sketches &c. Jim & I very busy - others not. Mother took me to Sibley's to dinner & then went to Autumn Chapter. Hippo. tonight and then did a lot on Henry's bibs tonight. Marguerite was over. Thurs. 1912 Not a very good day. I lunched with Mary,Nellie, Lura & Mrs. B. at Sibley's(crowded & hurried) Mother was tired & had been working hard. We played flinch & read some. Our roomer Mr. Herbert Moyer married Lizzie Hermer. Fri. 1913 We didn't get a prize in the Albany competition! Coralyn
is better. Lydia has decided to take Grantine's room (She's coming back!) Tonight we read "The Shepherd of the Hills" aloud & went to bed early. I'm tired nowadays, Ollie McGrath to be married next week.
Sat. 1914 Rainy & horrid. My new silk suit came from the Mechanics (Miss Worthington) Mother & I went to see David Warfield in "The Auctioner" - fine!! Then to Sibley's for tea with Florence McL. & then to Claude's to dinner & back home & early & to Frieda's (see back - Friday!)
