209JULY 19 mem Tues 1910 Another lovely day. Frieda & Leslie
got home last night & are house keeping today (with Schnapps &c.) Went to see Father this morning & tonight. He is better. Lunched alone this noon & went to the Hippodrome for a change. Tonight Edna & Miss Sweeney (a friend of Agnes Cunningham & of Reba's relatives & who lives in Baetzel's house) came over with cherry conserve for Father. Sewed some. Chan & Henry & Celia went to Russell Island this morning to stay till Sat. with "Nana".
Wed 1911 see mem Pleasant. Had a postal from Lura who's having a lively time at Big Moose Lake. Mrs. Baker came up this p.m. staid to supper. Sat on the back piazza to see the sunset and then went with me to the Temple to see Vaughan Glaser & Fay Courtney (his wife) in "Prince Chap"- very good. Mary & Nellie went too. It poured during the evening. Some neuralgia tonight. Fri 1912 A lovely cool day. Went down to the Station with Claude & took photos. Jo Wilkinson came & Mother & I went up & had dinner with her. Then we played with the new "game" she bought. Sewed a little later & helped Mother back. Sat 1913 Beautiful day. Mother & I went to "Wayback" on the 1:40. The boat ride was fine. Met Mrs.
& Miss Barnett (Mr. B
was on) The Willards were glad to see us. The Yarringtonsin the Sanctum are Minnie La Favre & her family! Fred
is a handsome boy - 17 and 6'4" tall! A bonfire tonight and of course lots of visiting and eating.
Sun 1914 A lovely day. Cool & fine. Charles & I walked way over to Edwards (5 miles or so) & had a nice visit. There with the entire family. Mr. E. brought us home in the new (1913) Cadillac. Katty invited me to come with the girls. Read "& gassed" &c. this p.m. And had a lovely old fashioned "sing" around the fire in the evening. Called on Bunnells & their guest in p.m. Throat still sore. Saw the hydroplane about sunset (a lovely one)
