360DECEMBER 17 Sat 1910 A little warmer. Spent the noon finishing shopping & the afternoon doing up and arranging packages to send. I'm all through. It's lonesome without Claude. G.C. Buell died. Tonight finished the last of my 10 cross-stitched guest - towels. Sun. 1911 Slept finely in top berth & woke about five to see the boat start off. Took a nice walk on the deck before breakfast. A "Perfect" morning. The Bs Played with some "American Navy" Aunt K. gave them and with "Joe Noble" - such a nice boy from the Adirondacks - (Paul Smith's) It got rougher after lunch. Wrote letters & postals &c. after dinner, had chats with Colette & Leon Morgan - young "William [illegible] from a Montana apple ranch &c. Tues 1912 Henry home this morning! Lovely weather these days in crowded tea rooms. Everyone tired. We retire times sit up by the light. Wed 1913 Busy shopping & Milly Davis was operated on for cancer today! Marguerite came up & we had a nice little visit! Thurs. 1914 Fine day! Lunched with Florence & head about her visit with Edith last night. Shopped awhile with Irene and then went to E.A.S. office & saw her a little while. Irene started to go home with me (& then back to E.) but we stopped at the movies. Had several phone messages tonight and played flinch with Mother &c.
