294OCTOBER 12 Wed. 1910 Fine cool day. P.O. people here all the morning in my office - so I copied theosophy in the reception room. Went to Hippo. this p.m. & read ripped & played flinch this evening. Theo says it is going to Cornell to study fruit farming. He is 36 yrs. old saw Frieda in her lovely wedding day tonight. Thurs. 1911 Beautiful day. Edith & I came home to lunch and tonight went to the Above

in "Madam Butterfly". Which was very good. My cold still pretty bad. Busy at the office, too.
Sat. 1912 Finished up my Thomas batch this a.m. and as I went to the bay with the Flacks. Cutler crowd - a big one. Carol & I went chestnutting in a fresh breeze on the hill & got a pint a piece. I helped Reg with the sausages by the stove & we had a jolly time. They had the pony down - R. drove back with [illegible] & Ray Hanna & I walked into town. He told me all about his latest love "Fanny Waite & his Mother &c. Took the car at Cifford Ave. Home about 7:45 Sun. 1913 Nice - but cold. Busy morning. After dinner (the new plant window is done!) Took the boys to South Park via "Summerville" car (!) & back by Genesee. Saw the remains of the "Holy Name "parade. Had tea at Cro'nest. Mon. 1914 Had lunch (accidentally) with Mrs. Mead at Sibley's went to the Gordon tonight. Mabel Rogers in town for Columbus Day - 'phoned me. Mr. & Mrs. Corle
have invited me to bring Bess & Mary & Ella Durney to Bomansville for next week - end!
