8JANUARY 8 Sat. 1910 Home to lunch today. Tonight took Miss
Mc Affrey
up to see our new offices I came down in the new freight elevator. Lura's "screen" is down at last. Shopped a little-my new Christmas muff from Mother & went with Bess & Mary to- night to see Robt. Edeson in "A Man's Man" John Church's mother (Fred & Jack's Aunt) died suddenly this p.m. setting in her chair Eugene Satterlee died too - rather suddenly

Marguerite came & visited me while I washed dishes this a.m. - & was entertaining. M. & I went to Cro'nest to dinner. I wanted to go to the H. Davises this p.m. but the children were so dear I couldn't leave them - we cut out & pasted the "Pied Piper" picture. Chan was so cunning showing me the anchor on his new suit. Had tea with them It rained hard tonight. I read "Robt. Elsmere"
some - as I am reading the sequal serially.
Mon 1912 Some milder. Nicely busy day at office. Mae & Mrs. Wray were in. Came home to lunch Mother made a nice hard coal fire in the grate. Had a "Helen - talk" with Jim this p.m. Tonight wrote &c. Mr. Moyer sat down stairs, his room was so cold! Wed 1913 A lovely "ice storm" the trees covered. It has been strange weather the last few days. Thurs 1914 Fog & White mist. Roy Bartden
in quite awhile. We talked "Europe" Milly is home from the hospital. Claude's to supper tonight (the new French cook) & then came home & pasted photos &c. wrote a little too.
