255SEPTEMBER 3 Sat. 1910 J.G. & J.W. began this morning stirring up the office readjusting
things. Gave Miss B.Miss McA. each $200 a week more salary and asked them to
take but one hour noon! I left (with "genial goodbyes") at noon and took
the 3:15 train. Mother saw me off - BessMame & I arrived at Pt.
Breeze in a rather moist condition just in time for supper -
after auto - experiences on the road. Walked out to the end of the pier &
saw all sorts of nautical sites after supper. 2 beds in 1 room!
Sun. 1911
Lovely days. Made blue
prints. Went to Cro'nest to dinner
with CFB & the dear children &
then to call on Jim at the hospital. He has his bed changed so he can
see the view. Then to the office for my negatives & to Davis' for a chat with ChattieFrances, who went over to
Reinhardt with me, to call. Mr. Bridges
& the new baby. Parker(2 mos. old) came by - also
Zoe & her mother. Read "The
Master's Violin" tonight.
Tues. 1912
Quite hot & sultry
again. Stern back from
Toronto & Jim from
Niagara falls. CFB

Letitia & the boys and saw the
great, beautiful station and around it. I rode up with them. Henry staid "I like to watch the progress of
the work!". Tonight sewed & read & played
flinch with Mother. Feeling some better.
