285OCTOBER 3 Mon 1910 Cool morning but warmer later. Helen
 went to Williamson. I watched James work the tank developer. Tonight Mother called for me & I went to Townsend's about a typewriter. Met Bess & Mary. Mary Bess wants me to get her another job. Tonight Amelie came up to talk "house" &c. Tues 1911 Wrote lots of personal letters (31 pages!) for CFB. Staid down this noon & lunched with Bess & Mary (?) Sewed & read tonight. Thurs Wed. 2 1912 Went to hear Mrs. Russak's lecture on "Life after Death" tonight & it was great - but very unusual. Church full. Busy day & a lovely one. Rode down with Mrs. Lawrence. Fri. 1913 Lovely day. Mother got started off for Webster with the Missionaries at 9:10 - Claude to Canandaigua at 9. & Jim & I kept shop as Stern went to Boston last night (He meets his family returning from Europe next wk.) Lunched with Bess & Mary. Tonight have been writing & amusing Felix. Went to Hippo. Sat 1914 Lovely day. I went with the Cutler crowd to Durand. Eastman for a corn roast - up in the Cabin. It was late getting done. Alice, Mr. Harper & Isabel
 & I took a walk in the woods. Later Reg, Ethel & Eleanor Bridgman & I went to the pier & then to watch them play tennis. I went up to Claude's for Mother & to see the boys. Lovely moonlight.
