117APRIL 26 Tues 1910 Lovely day. "">Mawy Dicky" phoned me & I lunched with her & Bess & had a jolly time tho' they felt bad because the auto Albany - Phila. trip is off. Had quite a visit with Nellie, and May Rogers was in late. Saw "Thro' the Darkness" & "Rings on your Fingers" (good) & "Gallagher" & the "Newlyweds" - are very good - Chased cats when I got home & read till quite late, then wrote quite some. Lura blue, Didn't see Mary. Getting caught up at O. Wed 1911 A perfect morning. Saw Mother off for Buffalo and Niagara Falls at 8:20. Went to Cro'nest at noon & Celia
waited on me in solitary grandeur - walked down thro' the woods and pond to South Ave. cars. At night went to Bess & Mame's & played in their Pianola - tho' I was dead tired. Didn't get to bed till eleven!
Fri 1912 Busy. Tonight I went up to Chattie's. Found Mr. Vick there. He is just Starting for the coast with the Shriners - Jno & Amelie are going too. Tonight read &c. Sat 1913. Pleasant but looked some like rain later. About four (soon after I got home) Lydia
, Coralyn
& I went to Seneca Park and walked way thro' and back. It was very lovely indeed- wild flowers. White blossoms &c. & the looming priest's house over the river C. & I ate beans when we got home!
Sun 1914 Cloudy, gloomy day. Walked over to the Art Gallery early in the p.m. Stopping on Clinton Ave. for a lunch. The boys were here when I got back & when they went Marguerite came and stayed to supper and we had a real nice time. She left about nine.
