45FEBRUARY 14 Mon. 1910 Nice winter day. Henry & Chan came down on their sleds to see Gran'ma today, and Peter was pleased & ate their Cracker Crunch! I changed some lamps (our Electric bill is so big!) Got a nice red heart full of salt- ed nuts from Mary & a card from Edith. Home this noon & to Farquaharson's & see my pictures tonight Chan's with Mr. Cooper
("Cooper" he calls him) is good. Saw Marguerite dressed for a Valentine party in her pretty silk. Did part of a puzzle tonight while Father read.
Tues 1911 Snowy & turning into a regular blizzard by night. Mother went to Autumn Chapter & I went to Hippo & then lunched with Mary D. (Bess sick) we had a real jolly time. They gave lace paper hearts with bon bons for valentines at Sibley's. Read "In tune with the Infinite" (Meta's) tonight. Don't feel very well - teeth - eyes & head - Sherby Murray very sick indeed. Wed 1912 Nothing special today. Home to lunch & read tonight. Get sleepy early now a days. Gurdon came in with Herbert Caswell (just passing trough.) Jean Andrews Clark born in Brooklyn. Fri. 1913 Long session with Mrs. Ramsdell. Hamilton & Milly called tonight & Miss Gill visiting Lydia
! Washed my hair & took a hot bath later. (Herb. Caswell was here the other day, too - see above)
Sat. 1914 Snow & deep too. Lunched (accidentally) with "Captain" & Myra
at Sibley's. M's new niece "Myra
" is 6 weeks old. Went to "Maggie Pepper" on Marian's invitation & had a real nice time too. Then went to [illegible] to supper with Bess & Mary & Edith - such a nice one - & a visit around the fire & music &c. "Auntie" away but had two (neighbors) call for a little while mem.
