Sat 1911 Awfully slippery, foggy & some rain. Claude went to Buffalo (Mrs. Sprague's) to spend Sunday. I lunched alone at Sibley's - shopped - Saw Rowe's in McCurdy's and then came home & sewed & made fudge & read & visited with Marguerite played flinch & solitaire. Amelie & Donald are going to Herma's the 25th. Sun 1912 Gurdon came up to take his mother to church, but got a phone from "Ruth"
they weren't going, so sat by the fire with Alice all the morning. I was busy & Mother went to church. We went - all of us - to Claude's to a nice dinner & visit & came home about 4:30 & Alice & Gurdon went to Hubbard's to supper. I had a nice time reading by the fire.
Tues 1913 Mother came down to lunch today at Sibley's & went to Autumn Chapter but looked used up. She had Hammon
take her home & I gave her supper in bed.
Wed 1914 Bright & beautiful. Mother went to the 9:40 train with me and I was till nearly one getting to Dansville! (changed time &c - It was almost a joke) Went up in the bus to the Jackson Health Resort & got a fine room - facing the valley - #330. After lunch saw Dr. Arthur & he gave me a row of treatments for each day & the 3:30 salt & alcohol & oil rub was delightful. Then walked over to the Bunnells at Top Col & had a visit - a delicious dinner & a chat with Mrs.[illegible] & others by the fire. Bed at 9:30!
