Fine bright day but cold. Our
first half holiday. Lunched with >M. & B. at
Duffy's after walking down with
Klem. Then went to a visit with
Mary
Scott to stop 6. Allen's
creek. Walked around there & took pictures & then to
Maplewood & up to Kate Gleason's
"castle" The girls stayed to supper but I came home & later went &
Claude to the [illegible]
lecture - Mr.
Sterling came home with me
Sun 1911
Slept late and did ate sorts
of odd jobs (mostly showing) this a.m. It turned out a perfect day Went
to Claude's to dinner (in Amelie's Auto) - and Fred was there. Took pictures and later
(While Chan, Fred & Claude slept)
Henry made
Frances for the bees for Nana. I never saw him more lovely. Then we
had tea. & "Father & Uncle Fred went to call on the ladies" and
Henry took me to the park. both
boys walked to the car with me and I came home and wrote letters. Fred & Claude
went to "the (last night" & supper) with the
Hampdens afterward.
Tues 1912
Much cooler & partly cloudy. "Happily busy". Stern got back from
BaltimoreMother was in this p.m. Worked till
7:30 on odds & ends. Wrote and figured most of the evening. A
Mrs. Ireland of Eastwood's came to look
at on room.
Wed 1913.
Rather Good for nothing
today.
Marguerite came over a. Staid
home and did nothing this eve. That I remember of Lunched with
LuraCapt. & Marguerite
Bradshaw Thurs 1914
Cold and Foggy, Rain in a.m.
Lunched with "Captain" &
"Lura" Rode home early with
Jim. Went to No. 10
school with clothes this a.m. & saw the girls.
