35FEBRUARY 4 Fri. 1910. Lunched with Bob & Mary today. Stopped at Lyceum for my muff but they hadn't found it. It was rather cold without it. Went to the Slosson's (7 Audubon St.) with Klem Goodyear tonight, to call. They have just bought a 22 acre farm out on the state road Fairport to 9 m. pt
2 miles
from Fairport. Didn't see the children. Mother busy all day with Mary &c. and tired. It's rather strenuous getting ready for company for her!
Sat. 1911 Awfully gloomy as to weather. Decided not to go to the falls tomorrow as planned. Busy morning & this p.m. I lunched with Bess & Mary & then went home & (after looking at "Civic Improvement" drawing in office) & Mary came over. Later Mother & I went down to Sibley's with Mrs. Baker & Lura to a nice supper & music. Later the Bakers, MacArthurs & I went to the Lyceum to see Rose Stahl in "Maggie Pepper" (Dept store) It was full. Fred Truesdale in it too Late getting home. Missed both cars. Sun. 1912 Very cold. Claude's Celia's
last dinner. I spent the p.m. with the dear children in front of the fire, reading &c. Later "Nana" came & we had tea & a long talk about house keeping affairs &c. & her history - Finished my book the fire tonight.
Tues 1913 Tonight Lydia
was out & Mother& Coralyn
and I played "flinch" awhile - I am rather tired nowadays. Lunched with Bess & Mary at Cafeteria.
Wed. 1914 Another nice day. Lunched at Sibley's alone. Tonight went to the Gordon & saw "The Lion & the Mouse" first rate. Then to the East High, when I met Mother & Ruth
to & we heard Miss Slattery
on the welfare subject - She was very interesting indeed. It snowed some this p.m Marion's Birthday.
