35FEBRUARY 4 Fri. 1910.
Lunched with Bob & Mary today. Stopped at
Lyceum for my muff but they hadn't found
it. It was rather cold without it. Went to the
Slosson's (7 Audubon St.) with
Klem Goodyear
tonight, to call. They have just bought a 22 acre farm out on the state
road Fairport to 9 m. pt
2 miles
from Fairport. Didn't see the children.
Mother busy all day with Mary &c. and tired. It's rather
strenuous getting ready for company for her!
Sat. 1911
Awfully gloomy as to weather.
Decided not to go to the falls
tomorrow as planned. Busy morning & this p.m. I lunched with Bess & Mary & then went home & (after looking at "Civic
Improvement" drawing in office) & Mary came over. Later Mother
& I went down to Sibley's with
Mrs. Baker & Lura to a nice supper & music. Later the
Bakers, MacArthurs
& I went to the Lyceum to see
Rose Stahl in "Maggie Pepper" (Dept store) It
was full. Fred Truesdale in it too Late getting home. Missed both cars.
Sun. 1912
Very cold. Claude'sCelia's
last dinner. I spent the p.m.
with the dear children in front of the fire, reading &c. Later
"Nana" came & we had tea & a long talk about
house keeping affairs &c. & her history - Finished my book the
fire tonight.
Tues 1913
Tonight Lydia
on the
welfare subject - She was very interesting indeed. It snowed some this
p.m Marion's Birthday.
