66MARCH 6 Sun 1910 Lovely spring day. Was rather lazy all morning & we went up to Cro'nest to dinner (such a good one. The boys were dears - Made Sunbunnies on the stairs & I read Mother Goose - & they played outdoors with their blocks on the piazza. It was snowy & we all sat out there. Father enjoyed going up. Later I went over to Davis's to see Helen & Kate, Lillian is still living. Quite a thunder shower after I got home. Mon 1911 Lunched with Bess & Mary (after Hippo.) Had bad neuralgia & good deal of the day and most of the evening. Sewed some - and read. Wed 1912 Got down early & finished Barnard's Plumbing spec. (Jim dictating to typewriter) came home this noon - to a nice roast beef dinner. Sherby
was in & promises me a new picture of Ned soon. Tonight we read some tales of F. Hopkinson Smith & I read old steamer letters &c. My tooth the "other" side - is troubling me - loose & inflamed.
Thurs 1913 Lydia
came up this noon & we went to the Hippodrome and saw "Pickwicks" - Tonight - Lydia
's last - had a nice grate fire & I read Miss Jones' mother's "whaling" journal. As usual, didn't go to bed very early - cold and blizzardy tonight.
Fri 1914 More snow! Rode down with Claude & Henry. Channie phoned his mumps were "nearly better". Lunched late at Mc Curdy's & went to the Hippodrome which was extra good. Got off the new dist. circulars (Manas) supper alone with Mother, Marguerite was in - over the mumps but just vaccinated
