Felt very "rocky" today &
I guess other people did.

"sassed" J.W. & the
consequence was he gave me all his letters! I came home at noon after
missing all the cars & felt better after lunch.
Lillian is holding her own. Her father &
mother & brother from Dakota have gone back.
Tonight Papa read us 3 stories from
McClure's. The boys came over a little while & I tried my
"cat elevator" on Peter the first time. It worked
nicely. Never saw the cats cuter then they were tonight.

Nice cold winter's day.
Frieda & Leslie went to
Buffalo
this morning - (I tend furnace) Herma's
birthday today - 26th, I believe. I lunched alone down town - after the
Hippodrome. Stopped for Lura, but
she was going shopping with Blanche
Sackett (!) Henry
told Chan not to do something saying
"Don't do that Chan, I don't approve of it"!
Mr.
Tappan met his church committee! Sherby
Murray here - very sick again. Read McClure
tonight - It was cold.

Got breakfast this a.m. but
Mother is better. Home at noon. Tonight
read "Rebecca of Sunny- Brook" farm

Warm & delightful till
just tonight when it got windy. Went to Victoria at noon. Claude
went to N.Y. tonight. Came in to see us just
beforehand - the dear. Poor E. having
her troubles.
Sat 1914.
Gloomy day weather wise. I
worked right thro' lunch hour and half holiday on Manas accounts and brought my books home.

was invited to Julier's (with Eugenie) in N.Y. & they are being
very nice to him
