48FEBRUARY 17 Thurs 1910
Snowy, but I walked 3 times
today. Tonight however is a terribly drifty windy blizzard and I hear no
cars running. We've been reading cozily.
Ethel Mundy has begun a wax picture of
Chandler. Henry sang "Yip-i-addy-i-ay" to me thro' the 'phone tonight!
Poor Lillian
very very low - It is so sad.
Fri. 1911
Went to Dr.
McInter this a.m. & short
he'd fixed my tooth all right but
had a lot more neuralgia the rest of the day & evening.
Horrid rainy slippery, melty day. Home at noon.
Gurdon came up for an hour or 2
tonight, he has moved to 5 Phelps Ave.[illegible] Bath & bed early.
Sat 1912
Very tiring day. Lunched
quickly - with Lura & went back to
office. Stayed late to write a "photoplay". Shopped &c. and didn't
get home till late. Supper about 9 (!) & was up
too late altogether.
Mon 1913 Claude staid over to visit the
's first opera.
Tues 1914
Nice winter weather.
Mother came down today and we
shopped. Got her a nice coat at McCurdy's and a spring
hat(!) Lunched together at Sibley's.
Tonight I went to the
Gordon & saw Mary Pickford in "Hearts
Adrift" Then to Child's to supper & home to
accounts writing &c. (Getting more cold?)
