346DECEMBER 3 Sat 1910 Awfully busy - till nearly 2. Then went to [illegible] & to Maggie M's for my coat & home to such a good chicken dinner! X=stitched a little while but it was so dark I went down town soon after 4 - left the tickets for Monday with Mary

and did errands on till about 8. Then came home and served. Theo, home so Meta wasn't over tonight. Sun 1911 Was lazy this a.m. After dinner at Claude's - sat in front of the fire & read "Peter Pan" to the boys & Adeline

- walked home & read "The sick - abed - Lady" (I got for Charlotte's Xmas.) Tues 1912 Lydia

's friend Mrs. Laffray came up tonight & staid over. We played & "Rum". and she beat us awfully. Wed 1913 Lunched with Mrs. Crouch to talk about a YWCA vacation house & Annie Maize joined us later - nice time. Had my new dress fitted at Bernsteins - now "I Tamberon" tonight. Thurs 1914 Cloudy but no rain. Mother,Florence & I went to the Donation at noon & to Sibley'sto dinner together. (shopped a little) Irene came for chocolate & then walked to Clarissa & Mt. Hope with me tonight & Mother & I went to Claude's to dinner. I read to our boys - who were dears. Came home & wrote to Ruth
