97APRIL 6 Wed 1910
Cooler. Went to see
Sothern &
Marlowe in "Romeo & Juliet" tonight. Sat up top
with Marguerite, Miss
Boddy, Miss Canaby (Glasgow
St) & Miss Wilcos
(Brockport). Frederick Lewis made a fine
"Mercutio".
Mildred Holland was there. Walked home - late.
Thurs 1911
Warm & fine. Got along
pretty well with Specifications. Home to dinner. Shopped at the
"Rochester" to see Amelie
tonight & heard all her troubles. Mother
was going to Mr. Stone's reception tonight but a
hard thunder shower came up and prevented it.
Sat 1912
Fine warm day. Lunched with
Bess
& Mary at the
Cafeteria and then we went up to Cro'nest for my camera & to take the
boys some boats. They looked cunning in blouses & trousers & cropped
hair - but oh so grown up! They walked around the wood path with us. We
went to Highland Park &c. then to
Sibley's to tea & then to [illegible] to see bids on their house which were $546 above the
appropriation.
Claude came tonight - shopped.
Sun 1913
Home all day till night.
Motherwent up to lunch & stay with
the sick folks this p.m. I went to Lura's to supper &
Chat & Kittie Crichton were there. Had a lovely time of course.
Talked "Theosophy" &c.
Mon 1914 Mc Curdy's to lunch. Jim & I went out to Hammond's on
Pearl St.
for Mother (Autumn Chapter) this p.m. I cranked up the Ford!
