Lunched with Mother at Sibley's & with Mary & Bess accidentally
- Trudy in
Buffalo to visit Miss Farmer. It rained this a.m.! Father a little better. Saw him quite a while tonight. (Very
restless) said goodbye to Steinhausens &c (was very tired to- night went into
Cunningham's - Katherine C
lent me some new books.
Fri. 1911
A glorious day at last. Clear
& (really) hot but it seemed Cool compared with
the other
Claude much better. I went there early
with grape juice. Then to the office & then to
Claude again for a letter Pfau. & back to the office to write it
(& others) in the p.m. went to the Eastman Kodak works with
Mother& the Editor's. Supper at
Sibley's& then home to write &
sew.
Quebec date changed
Sun 1912.
Still very warm we didn't go
to Cro'nest as Dr.
Thomas was there on a special errand. Marguerite
came over in the morning to borrow books. We had a late and simple
dinner and about 5
Gurdon & Ruth
came up & took in up to South
Park in the Packard. It was are all rounded hot
day but not quite up to last summer Read in the evening.
Mon 1913.
Cool, I'm thankful to say but
Such a day!
Claude in N.Y. &
Jim home sick. Lunched with
LuraCapt. & her friend. Came home
exhausted - to write letters.
Mr. Rowe died suddenly while I was away!
Marguerite was in
Dansville. Funeral there today. A day like this
makes me feel like no vacation.
Tues 1914
Nice still, but threatened
rain. Was awfully tired tonight. Played flinch
with Mother. (who was tired too.)
