116APRIL 25 Mon 1910 April showers & sunshine. Went over to Far- quarharson's at noon (he phoned me) & then home. At night to [illegible] & then to our church to see Will Chapin's China Korea - Japan lantern slides - beautifully colored - sat next to Ed Chapin. He had some beauties of Korea Fuji and other Japan subjects. Jack walked home with in lovely moonlight & little spring Glamorous. Sleepy! Tues 1911 Fine day. Home to lunch. Claude & the Babies & Letitia want off to N.Y. (to Harry's) tonight. Stopped here in the carriage to say "good-bye goodbye" to every-sing - very hilarious & with eyes shining so sweet! Bed late. Thur. 1912 Lunched with Lura this noon. Busy. Read tonight. Everybody hustling nowadays. Edith Andrews Clark home after her sickness we hear. Fri 1913 Henry had his tonsils out - poor dear! Warm today. Amelie & John took Jim & me out to the house today. It looks fine so does the garage & all. Had a fine time. Tonight "Herbie" Stern brought me home in his auto! so I've had 3 rides in 24 hrs. The Rowe's were over on our porch tonight. changed my room. Sat 1914 Cold horrid day. Pouring rain at noon. Jim took me home in the auto. I sewed & read &c. this p.m. with Mother & we went to Cro'nest to dinner. It stopped raining but was disagreeable The new garden is begun and the teahouse will be next week. Herbert Caring & Minnie Power
