A really hot day. JW. decided to go to N.Y. to
motor in Berkshires with Whitney.
Came home to lunch. Lura looked at
Limerick rooms but didn't like them. Mr.
Hanna took me up the river canoeing tonight. It was simply
gorgeous. A movie too - ice cream cone & a nice visit - about
"Ann" &c. Poor boy is grinning be cause he's had a fuss
with his best girl. He came in a little while when we got home.
Thurs 1911
Quite busy. Mother & I all reading aloud "Eve's
Second Husband" and I am doing some cut up puzzles (good
Syracuse one) Marguerite has.
Sat 1912
Showery. Met Mr.
Cooper at the Station for Claude. Went up to lunch with him at Cro'nest, and later Mother
came up & we took the children (between showers) up down to Seneca
Park to see the "Animals". Read "Christopher"
tonight.
Sun 1913.
Warm. Mae Stull 'phoned me - to come out on the
11:10, Which I did and had a charming visit till 7:20 p.m. The houses
are both lovely and furnished in exquisite taste - so restful - &
deligful. They are all very much pleased. The
Wrays not there till late Will
Wray very sick to have an operation tomorrow. Took pictures

Fine day! I found
Mrs. Mathews. (or M.J - a
Southerner) here calling when Jim
brought me home and after supper we found Mother had fallen down 2 steps in a store this p.m. & hurt
her knee. Ruth
& I doctored her with hot application & anti -
fergestine &c. I phoned Florence I
couldn't go to the Park tomorrow.
