lunch - melted Rained at night (about comet - time) Mother
went to Miss
McLaughlin's to supper. Fred
&
Jack were over a little white & Father read a Eugene wood
article to us (why pay rent?) I sat on our nice back piazza with the cats!

Tues. 1911
Still Hot. Transplanted
cucumber vines this a.m a nice circus parade. Jessie
Tappan thought the Elephants were "beautiful" lunched at
Sibley's
with Lura & Mrs B. a very hard and very long thunder
storms this pm. (cooler) went to a good bill ask the
Hippodrome. Sat a little while with the
Rowe's this evening & then read McClures
&c.
Ray Hanna wants to go on the Saguenay with us. .c
Fred Boyce to be married this summer,

blistering this pm. Very busy with three sets of specifications. We are
going to let Roy
go. Sat onRowe's steps thought & later
MargueriteMiss Daly were over Sat up very late. Lunched with

I have been just about sick
the last few days & so busy. Minette
came to see us tonight (before I got home) and told me her troubles!
They all few to have them.. She looked pretty in rose color and black.
Coralyn
went to Pavilion for the week end

Didn't sleep hardly a bit
last night, so came home early with this pm. I went to bed. Later got
up & went & dined with Claude
just back. Mother and I stopped at
Mrs. Herztberger's new house & Miss
Ramsdell's
