121APRIL 30 Sat. 1910
A little dubious but I
started for Dansville at 440 on the "flyer". Mother came to the station with some "cat
elevator" pictures. Read "Happy Hawkins" & enjoyed the lovely
but wet valley going up. Dr. A got on at
Groveland & rode with me. Edith was at the station "Booster Day". Delicious supper -
Rhea Freidel
came & we went for a long walk. This Atlantic
Ave. dugway, the "back" road to Float Bridge
&c. Took the 7:30 car there. It was really charming & we walked
nearly 4 miles I guess. Supper at 9 with the girls.
Thurs. 1914
Bright & nice but
chilly. Went home to lunch today - going for the boys with Jim and then he came for me &
Ruth Duroe went too, & we did errands all the
way. Went out with Florence this p.m.
to look at por- traits. Mother to
Fred Boyce's to dinner.
