Mar 10 to 14 1910 Theo went to N.Y. for a five-day cure. Then sanitarium &c. Amelie told me (13th) that he was "crazy" one night last week & fought John & Carl
on the roof. Meta doesn't talk about it - but referred to it tonight (Mar 14) vaguely. Leslie
&Amelie are searching for a flat & want much to get Pringles away from them. Leslie
lent me some negatives.
Mar 15 1911 At Ojibway dinner: Mr. & Mrs. H.C. Davis (2) Mr. & Mrs. Clark (4) Mr. & Mrs. Wm Degraff (6) Mr. & Mrs. Bert Stull (8) Mr. & Mrs. Graham (10) Mr. & Mrs. Colgrove (12) Mr. & Mrs. Perrin (14) Miss C. Davis (15) " C. Crichton (16) "M. Bragdon (17) " Griswold (18) Mr. Sam Griswold (19) Mr. Jno. Graham (20) June 1 1912 At the Barron's "Hillbrook Farm" (P.O. = Oriskany Falls, Sta = North Brookfield. [illegible]) We fed the animals, Sport the dog, "Kitty gray" & "Major" the cats. 4 horses 2 colts, 2 calfs. 2 heifers, 3 cows, 100 or so sheep & lambs, 19 or 20 pigs. The house has 16 rooms & is filled with beautiful old mahogany, china, pewter & curios. Chas. Baron works at Ilion Remington Typewiter Co. His father & grandfather were in it "Ida" (Pintler) Baron was a playmate of Bess's in Fairport, graduate of the Geneseo, normal, taught in Brooklyn (where she met "Chick
") & intro- duced the girls to the Strattons - (They have a new boy baby)
Mar 6 1913 Miss Godyne told us she asked in School, day before yesterday who knew what was going to happen - Chan(the youngest) was the only one - He said "Mr. Taft is going to stop being "Presenden" of the U.S. & is going to be Presenden of a College and Mr. Wilson is going to stop being Presenden, of a College & begin being Presenden of U.S."! Sat Feb 7 1914 I made a mistake in the week. This Saturday I called on Alice Galloway & then on Milly D. in a blizzard. Belle
