63MARCH 3 Thurs 1910 Still bright & melty. JW keeps me busy & I still have a bad cough. Edith came up tonight at 5 & we walked down to the Roch. Sav. Bank and inspected the new Vacuum Oil offices - balconies &c. Read some - bed early - feel rather wobbly. Fri 1911 Nice winter day. Busy with specifications &c. Letitia was in this p.m. I stopped to see Meta tonight & this evening went with "Nana" to see the Russian Dancers - thzeller
- which was beautiful - and others. It was beautiful. Everyone was there - Claude took Frank Frey.
Sun 1912 Still bright & nice but cold. Awfully good dinner - Alice Mer's last. She left this p.m. Chan didn't feel well & Henry & I went with Claude to see the greenhouse man at Crosman's (who has lost his wife) & then to Clubb's new house & then to Bess & Mary's - (presents everywhere - too !) Home to warm buckets of fresh eggs - Marguerite was over Mon 1913 Snowed nearly all day. Went to Duffy's to lunch & saw Klem, who has her salary raised to $11.00 & has been sent to Atlantic City by the firm - all my doing, she says! Went to Jim's (who has the [illegible] on business (& pleasure) and worked over time. Tonight sat & read till nine then retired to my room - too sleepy! Tues 1914 Just getting over the snowstorm. Mother came down and we shopped &c. & then she went to the Tuesday Club & got very tired! Read aloud to her & Ruth
till they slept!
