344DECEMBER 4 Sun 1910
A dark day. Slept late &
fussed till time to go to Claude to
dinner (such a good one!) Henry spelled
"Henry" & "Cat" & "Nanna" - They were dears. Left them with
LuraMother & went to Lura's for p.m. & evening. Then did
accounts (CFB &c) till quite late.
Mon 1911 Claude sold his lot on Girton
Place
to Mr. [illegible] for $15 1700.00 (paid 75.00, I
think) Lunched with Edith A & Mother
at Sibley's and later Mother & I went to the new
Bevier Bldg.
opening, also saw a
nice water color exhibition & supped at the Mechanics . Visited with
Edith Scott. Wed 1912 Christmas shopping this noon. The stores are fine and
everything gay. Pretty good weather too.
Thurs 1913
The Boys - Claude & Roy
Bartlett very busy on shield decorations for the Chamber
of Commerce dinner - Dec. 10th. They are making beautiful
things.
Fri 1914
A gray day. Talked with
Edith Scott
at Sibley's & met Lou
Wilkinson
and Miss Chamberlain. Later saw
Florence too. Tonight Irene came up and Bess & Mary with their sewing, and we sat beside the fire, and
sewed. They seemed to like each other pretty well too.
