Louisa Wilson was here over a train - to see the children - and Mother& I went up to supper with her at Cro'nest. Henry looked beautiful with a broad red satin ribbon around his head! Went to the Station with Louisa & saw Phil at the train. The carriage brought us home.

Fri. 1912 Perfect day. Had my new corduroy (the second) tried on at Edwards. Lunched with Bess & Mary at the Cafeteria. Tonight Carolyn
Mother & I read aloud from the American. Claude told Jim his secret. He went to N.Y. tonight.
Sat. 1913 A lovely Indian summer day. Berny and strenuous morning. Lunched with Mary D. & then she & Bess & I went with. Jim & Helen on a lovely all - afternoon ride - to Sea Breeze - Forest Lawn - Big Woods - Bacon's (got out & walked around) - 9 Mile Point - Penfield, Dugway - Brighton & down with the girls. Then Mother & I went to Cro'nest to such a nice dinner with Claude & Eugenie. Sun 1914 Nan woke me about 8 & after a pleasant & leisurely breakfast & drove & took the 11:31 train from Saugerties. Double seat alone. Read De Morgan. Had a not very good but expensive dinner & finally arrived home in a snowstorm at 6:40. After my nice supper with Mother 'phoned Florence R. Edith
, Irene, Claude - also Florence M. and Miss Pringle who were not in Bed betimes - very tired! The mountains were beautiful in the light snow.
