went up to supper with her at Cro'nest.
Henry looked beautiful with a broad red
satin ribbon around his head! Went to the Station with Louisa & saw
Phil at the train. The carriage brought us home.

find the beautiful, we must carry it with us or we find it not.

corduroy (the second) tried on at Edwards.
Lunched with Bess & Mary at the
Cafeteria. Tonight Carolyn
Mother & I read aloud from the
American. Claude told Jim his secret. He went to
N.Y. tonight.

A lovely Indian summer day.
Berny and strenuous morning. Lunched with
Mary D. & then she & Bess & I went with.
Jim & Helen on a lovely all - afternoon ride - to Sea Breeze - Forest Lawn -
Big Woods - Bacon's (got out
& walked around) - 9 Mile Point -
Penfield, Dugway -
Brighton
& down with the girls. Then Mother
& I went to Cro'nest
to such a nice dinner with Claude &
Eugenie.
Sun 1914 Nan woke me about 8 & after a pleasant
& leisurely breakfast & drove & took the 11:31 train from
Saugerties. Double seat alone. Read De
Morgan. Had a not very good but expensive dinner & finally
arrived home in a snowstorm at 6:40. After my nice supper with Mother 'phoned Florence R.Edith
, Irene,
Claude - also Florence M. and Miss Pringle
who were not in Bed betimes - very tired! The mountains were beautiful in the light snow.
