30JANUARY 30 Sun 1910
Lovely sunshiney morning with
a sprinkling of fresh snow, was lazy, but busy all a.m. Jack moved out yester- day & I changed
around some things - [illegible] - book racks &c. All 3 of
us went to Cro'nest to dinner. I
dressed Henry & NannaChan
A good dinner - by Letitia
(Julie
away) & Father
went home first then Mother. & I
not till about six. We "mended" cards - read stories, built "Engines" -
visited the Ramsdell's new barn &c. Read
when I got back.
Mon 1911
Very blizzardy day. I felt
better - but tired. To Bank & home at noon. Did Jim's Syllabus of his lectures. Tonight we
had a grate fire - 2 cats stretched out in front & Mother & I sewing & reading. I sat up
too late after - doing accts &c.
Tues 1912 Mother was really sick with a cold
& in bed when I got home tonight. I made a nice fire & read to
her & played flinch tonight.
Jim left for
Annapolis. Celia to be married
Thurs 1913.
Lovely summery day
(Nana
heard a robin!) Just "on the verge" of being very busy in the office.
Peter very delightful nowadays - healthy &
beautiful. Read some tonight, as usual & was tired early.
Fri. 1914
Shopped around without
buying things. Mother & I tried on
the dresses we are planning to wear to the wedding. Read some.
