319NOVEMBER 6 Sun 1910
Some sunshine this a.m. but
cold later. I did all sorts of odd jobs this a.m. & Mother & I went to Cro'nest to dinner - tho' Claude was out (to
Sibley's) Nanna went out & we had two of the goodest little boys all
the p.m. I went down to Lura's about 5.
The Pringle's were in the car. Chat &
Frances came to supper (such a good one) and I stayed all the evening &
Lura told me her (business) troubles
and I told her all the funny stories I'd think of. Letters, later.
Mon. 1911 Jim back at the office for the first time
& very welcome. CFB not feeling firstrate (world). It poured this p.m. Had
quite a visit with Mary
(after a busy day) Did my cash acct. before supper and read
and sewed afterward.
Wed 1912
Rain. I am staying down
to lunch mostly now-a-days
Lydia
read evening & we sew awhile & then retire to our rooms to
read or sleep.
Thurs 1913
Warm & lovely. Went up
& got the boys this p.m. & took them to the flower Show.
Met Mama there later (also
Mrs. Mc- Laughlin &c. &c.) I took the boys to
the office &
Claude took them home (Jim had a puncture)
Mr. Moorepark & Mr. Gareissen dined at
C's. I read &c. Tooth hurts
