278SEPTEMBER 26 Mon. 1910 Cloudy cold dark day. My first "officially" at CFB's wrote a lot of letters & kept busy and liked it. Came home at noon. Saw Frank D. who says Chat enjoyed the "Ojibway" (just got home) Saw MaryMac a minute had a little visit with Lura & the Cutler people(Harper, Alice, Gilmore, Bridgeman & Hilda
.) Miss Flack walked to the Station with me & I got my bag & rode home. Frieda was up tonight & I read aloud & then wrote &c. called up Mr. Tait
Tues. 1911 A beautiful day - but cold. Mother lunched with Mrs. Baker & they went to the Exposition. I lunched with Bess & Mary & tonight went with them to the exposition. We did every- thing & wound up with all the second half of the "Kilties Band" It was chilly! Trudy sent me "The Iron Woman" & a nice letter. Thurs. 1912 No lunch today - so busy I almost forgot it! We read aloud with Miss. Fox this Evening. CFB in Buffalo with Eugenie. Fri. 1913 Lunched with Edith J. She has just moved to 409 Lake Ave. Jim Clark in town. Had quite a talk with him. He's interested in the Historical Society & makes speeches. Frieda got two lovely yellow kittens "Rufus" (by me) & "Raster" (by Leslie

Sat. 1914 Nice bright morning (but cool) Ruth Duroe Mother & I went to Coburg on the ferry! It was very rough part of the time. I put Ruth
& Mother to bed on the life boats rafts rafts & they rested while I read &c. at C. Ruth
bought 2 nice sweaters a $425 each and I bought some gloves. It was cold part of the way home
