Got to be hospital before ten & stayed till 1:30 - Two with [illegible] at noon. Father slept a good deal & I read Mrs. Mason's book "The God parents" After dinner Mother went over and I sewed (!) [] Edith, Marion

Mon 1911 Still boiling hot. Claude at the office. Found we couldn't get accommodation for next Sunday for Quebec - now we can't go Thursday! (mem.) Wed 1912 Hot most of the day but a real cooling shower this noon. Ruth Weber 2 weeks old yesterday & the nurse left to day (Rose Sherry) I went down to see Bob & Mary's house at 5:30. It looks fine. Then went to Lura's to such a good supper & she & Mrs. B. & I went over to Exposition Park to a band concert. Saw Edna & her family. Took my 2nd bath (I take 2 a day) & read! Thurs 1913. Rain in the morning but fine afterward. a big Elks Parade (our boys were down) Mother& I to Cro'nest to supper. The boys dressed as cowboys - & then down under the stars & young moon with Claude who went back tonight to join his bride. The Julier's return Saturday! Fri 1914 Matie A. lunched with me today Her operation of making a jaw out of a shin bone has been wonderful! We went to the "movies" first. At 3:30 Jim took Walter
& Mrs. A.
& me to Gorsline's. It was lovely, of course. They are all settled even the garage. Boy's camp next door! Home thro' Eastman - Durand Park and the lovely "birdy" hog-back road! Put up lunch
