101APRIL 10 Sun. 1910 (Mem.)
Beautiful spring day - but windy this p.m. Slept rather late &
enjoyed the day much. The sunny flat in the morning - even the dishwashing(!)
by the open window
Marguerite was over (in her new brown suit.)
After dinner (good) I went to Cro'nest& took care of the children for the after- noon,
Claude just home from
N.Y. Took pictures & then he went to rest &
the children were so good & dear.
Henrytold me all about New
York - "The Hudson River" &c. &c.
Mother came about 5 & Claude went out. L came after six. I got supper at home & then read till
10.
Mon. 1911
Fine day. Rather busy too.
Claude
went off to N.Y. tonight. It looks like summer- fat robins around &c - but chilly.
Lovely moonlight nights. Frieda & Leslie
enjoying their new auto (#50441.) Fixed books in the
mahogany book cases tonight & X=stitched some.
Wed. 1912 Claude went to Boston
last night.
Letitia came in the a.m. feeling "fine"
but looking a little weepy. Told me about the farm & the seventeen year
old boy Leonard Hodges she has. Chan & Henry &
Mary
came down with her this p.m. She went at 2 & they came to the
office a very interrupted day. Read some & went to bed early
tonight.
Thurs. 1913
Lunched with Lura & Mary
Gridley at Sibley's. Busy.
We miss Claude who went to
N.Y.
last night my first evening home this week, with the family.
Fri. 1914
Fine sunny morning. Claude went to
Canandaigua. I went out & shopped. (Tonight
Ruth DuRoe (who has the mumps!) & I
went town to Frieda's for Victrola
Music &c.) - no this was Sat. night!
Felix
shut in closet all day.
