112APRIL 21 Thurs 1910 Cloudy so Mrs. Andrews didn't come as she expect "phoned" Mother she'd be here tomorrow. I took the new "shopping lunch" at Duffy's with Bess & Mary - & talked Cape Cod &c. Mother came in a [illegible]. Tonight went to Hippo - the only decent moving picture show there is - and it is good. Davy Crocket &c. tonight. Marguerite was over tonight & I finished "White Mill". Had a nice visit with CFB & with Mary
. Frieda is after Pringles flat hard. Apr.
Fri 1911 Pouring rain all day. Perfectly horrid - cold & shivery. Was very busy. Reinhardt sent his boy to help me with specifications. I took 20 minutes for dinner (alone) Mary & I went to the Bijou and saw "The Fall of Rome" this p.m. It was really fine. Sun 1912 A lovely day. Got up early. Gilded the frame of great grandmother's picture. (Betsy Elizabeth Bull Shipperd) - the "Betsy Bull" BB on the little teaspoon. Went to Claude's to dinner & "Nana"! was there. She took Chan home with her - perfectly happy - & Mary
will take Henry tomorrow - both to stay till Wednesday! Came back early & read N.Y. papers till bedtime!!
Mon 1913 Went to hear the last of the YWCA reports but it was too crowded. They got about 762,000 & will give $5000 to Dayton. Mrs. Gordon phoned us the result in the evening. Tues 1914 Cold & horrid. Went to the movies this noon & to Mechanics (with dress) this a.m. Lawrence
is papering Mother's rooms. Jim & I went Ford - shopping - & then I cooked chicken - on - toast supper. We were all dead - tire tonight. Frank Bellamy & Estelle 2 [illegible] married (- today?)
