Lunched with Mother & Mary D. at Sibley's today. Thurs 1911 Lovely day. Walked round by Washington St. this a.m. Lunched with Mary & Nellie Mac & Lura (& my new hat!) At 5 rode out to Cobb's hill & Fred Eel's was just going up in his flying machine! was up about 10 or 15 minutes - a beautiful flight down the valley. Saw the Bridges baby (Parker) mean while. Tonight Cousin Mary Shipherd came - on her way to Evanston to live. X=stitched & visited this evening. Bed very (!) late. Sat 1912 The only not really delightful day this week. Claude is to go to the 50th story of the Woolworth Bldg. in N.Y. this p.m. Worked till 4:30 on garage specification (Frey & then came home to supper a hot bath & bed) very tired! Sun 1913 A nice sunny morning but turned dull. Florence and I went to Durand - Eastman Park (with some sandwiches) & took a long walk around thro' the woods & around the pond & over the zoo. After I got home went home again for a long walk in town. A very mellow lovely day. Our boys here all night. Mon 1914 Mist but a peep of sunshine. Up at 6 and off on the 7:15 (Mr. Lewis took us over) Lipped to see what happened to Ella Durney. Lunched with the girls. Wrote &c tonight and had a "live talk" with Irene on the phone. She was in a dear wood. Florence 'phoned this afternoon.
